The NTS-Pico3 has no artificial limits on NTP clients and PTP slaves amount.

It depends on performance which is related to amount of packets (PTP sync, announce) and (NTP, PTP delay/peer-delay) requests.

NTS-Pico3 handles much over 1000 NTP slaves/queries every 1s. The PTP limit was not tested as it depends tightly on PTP settings.

You can test by yourself e.g. 1000 NTP requests (ntpdate -p 1 -q IP) and the results will show only 54% CPU load (cpu idle 46%).

So reasonable value is 1000 (NTP + PTP) requests per second. Factory settings for PTP which in our case is two-step allow 500 PTP Slave devices.
